These diverse Elk Foundation representatives spend much of their time initiating and organizing new Elk Foundation chapters and helping each chapter in their state or region coordinate annual banquets. They chair state project advisory committees, helping to choose and monitor Elk Foundation habitat conservation and conservation education projects. In doing so, they serve as liaisons with state game and fish departments, universities, outfitters and other conservation groups.
