| Use of Game Farm Elk Hunts at Fundraising Events |

Resolution
- Whereas, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation' s conservation staff has expressed serious concerns about the potential threats that the game farming of elk and other species of Cervus pose to the health and welfare of wild, free-ranging elk; and
- Whereas, on April 7, 1994 the RMEF Board of Directors adopted a position statement addressing the organization' s concerns about the game farming of elk and other species of Cervus; and
- Whereas, RMEF staff has been approached by a game farm operator wishing to donate additional game-farm elk hunts to RMEF chapters; and
- Whereas, RMEF should only promote those activities that are within the RMEF's mission, policy and values
- Now, therefore be it resolved, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation shall not accept donations of game-farm hunts for elk or other species of Cervus at either the local or national level, nor utilize these types of hunts in any of its fundraising activities.
