The Elk Foundation's Torstenson Wildlife Center (TWC) offers a number of big game hunts. Income generated from these hunts covers many of the TWC's operating costs.
World-Class Hunting
TWC is known for its trophy-class bull elk, mule deer and antelope. Trophy hunters enjoy one-on-one guided hunts during the day, followed by a good night's sleep in our comfortable lodge each night. And, our cooks provide outstanding culinary fare.
Annually we offer the following trophy hunts on the ranch:
• 10 bull elk muzzleloader hunts
• 14 bull elk archery hunts
• About 15 mule deer hunts
• Three antelope hunts
Elk can be hunted by muzzleloader and archery only, as the ranch lies in a primitive weapons unit.
TWC offers 24 cow elk hunts each year. We target some toward youth, and many are sold at Elk Foundation Big Game Banquets. We also partner with the Mule Deer Foundation and other organizations to sell our hunts. In addition, we offer up to four mountain lion hunts annually on the ranch.
TWC's hunting season runs from early September to late January. Hunts are generally booked one-to-two years in advance.
