The Elk Foundation's Torstenson Wildlife Center (TWC) relies on foundation volunteers to help conduct on-the-ground projects on the ranch. We hold a volunteer work day the second Saturday of each month from February through August. Projects include constructing pronghorn-friendly fencing, planting willows, rehabilitating stream beds, cutting firewood and providing general maintenance around the facilities.

We also rely on volunteers to help out during our annual Conservation Education Day, held in September. In addition, volunteers serve as guides and cooks during cow elk hunts held in December and January.

Please contact us if you are interested in spending a day working for wildlife at the TWC.
