There is no higher compliment than knowing that future generations will be thankful for our efforts and will continue to build on them. The Elk Country Endowment has been established to ensure the Elk Foundation’s conservation work continues forever.

An endowment is a permanent fund set aside to generate interest to support operational expenses. Only a small portion of an endowment’s principal is ever used. As our endowment grows, the Elk Foundation will become self-sustaining and be able to put more and more of the money generated annually through donations, memberships and banquets directly into work on the ground. A donation to our endowment is nothing short of a perpetual gift that will help us protect and enhance elk country forever.

It is our goal that one day, the Elk Foundation can operate entirely from funds generated by the Elk Country Endowment.
