Bass Pro Shops' longtime partnership with the Elk Foundation has had a profound impact on RMEF conservation efforts. Bass Pro Shops' greatest contribution so far is its underwriting of the annual Big Game Banquet knife, allowing every Elk Foundation chapter to receive a knife free-of-charge for fundraising at its banquet. Bass Pro Shop’s support alone has helped conserve almost seven square miles of wildlife habitat!

Bass Pro Shops generously serves as a charter sponsor to the Elk Foundation's- Elk Country Legacy mission and membership campaign. The campaign touches upon all aspects of elk country conservation and recognizes that the next few years are critical in shaping the future of elk and wild landscapes.

Communicating the Message
Bass Pro Shops also supports the Elk Foundation by promoting our conservation message through their popular mail-order catalogs, website and many of their retail outlets.  Bass Pro Shops increases brand awareness for the Foundation by hosting the RMEF Conservation Month during the month of July.  They invite RMEF volunteers to come and set up booths in the majority of its retail outlets with the goal of raising funds for elk country.  Their customer service representatives encourage their customers to make donations to Elk Foundation and its worthy cause.  Donors have the chance to win great prizes- including an elk hunt, a trip for four people to the Professional Bull Riders Finals, and valuable gift certificates from Bass Pro Shops.
