The Elk Foundation faced many challenges in its infancy, including its ability to find quality merchandise for a small number of new banquets. Browning saw potential in the budding conservation organization from Troy, Montana, and gladly stepped in to lend a hand. The company provided the foundation with its first ever banquet rifle.
