The longtime support and commitment Browning has given to conservation, has helped RMEF since the beginning.  In 1984 the Elk Foundation faced many challenges in its infancy, including its ability to find quality merchandise for a small number of new banquets. Browning saw potential in the budding conservation organization from Troy, Montana, and gladly stepped in to lend a hand. The company provided the foundation with its first ever banquet rifle.  As a sponsor, Browning helps thank some of the foundation's most dedicated members by supporting the Friends of the Foundation breakfast at RMEF’s national convention each year.
