Since the Federal Cartridge Company opened its doors in 1922, it has not only helped advance the technology and performance of ammunition, but has committed itself to a conservation ethic that benefits outdoor enthusiasts of all ages as well as natural resource agencies, conservation organizations, and most importantly, wildlife and wildlife habitat.

A Variety of Support
Federal has contributed more than $330,000 to the Elk Foundation since 1991. Federal's generous donations have supported many programs including sponsorship of Big Game Banquet program covers and contributions to various elk restoration efforts and other projects. Federal also donates a portion of the proceeds from the sales of its Premium High Energy centerfire rifle cartridges to the foundation.

Building for the Future
Federal recently gave a sizable donation to help fund our new Elk Country Visitor Center in Missoula, Montana. Thanks to Federal, hundreds of thousands of outdoor enthusiasts each year learn about habitat conservation and the role of hunting in conserving wildlife.
