Since the Federal Cartridge Company opened its doors in 1922, it has not only helped advance the technology and performance of ammunition, but has committed itself to a conservation ethic that benefits outdoor enthusiasts, as well as natural resource agencies, conservation organizations, and most importantly, wildlife and wildlife habitat.

Federal's generous donations have supported many programs including sponsorship of RMEF’s Big Game Banquet Program Covers and other contributions to various elk restoration efforts and projects. Federal Ammunition also donates a portion of the proceeds from the sales of select Vital-Shok® and High Energy loads in .270, .308, .30-06, .300, and .338  rifle loads.  Federal continues its support by promoting and advertising its brand and products in the pages of BUGLE Magazine and sponsoring RMEF’s Great Elk Tour - the premier traveling elk taxidermy display.

Building for the Future
Federal also gave a sizable donation to help fund RMEF’s National Headquarters and  Elk Country Visitor Center in Missoula, Montana. Thanks to Federal, hundreds of thousands of outdoor enthusiasts each year learn about habitat conservation and the role of hunting in conserving wildlife.
