National Convention to Showcase Some of Nashville’s Best

By Kathy Zeiler, RMEF Event Services Manager

Elk Country meets Music City when National Convention heads to Nashville, Tennessee on March 2-4, 2017! We’re so excited about bringing together RMEF members and volunteers to celebrate the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in a city known for its roots in country music. This convention will be chock full of exciting musical entertainment and the opportunity to see what Music City has to offer.

Highlights include:

• Everyone staying at our host property, the Omni Nashville Hotel, will receive a free pass to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The Omni Nashville is also located within walking distance of the Hall of Fame.

• Opening Ceremonies on Thursday night will include a three course dinner and a guitar pull featuring Chris Janson, Richie McDonald and Chuck Wicks.

• A live auction will be held on Friday afternoon. Dinner and your choice of our Taste of Nashville events will follow. Options include a private performance at the Country Music Hall of Fame by several Nashville singer-songwriters or an intimate classic country performance by Daryle Singletary and 45 RPM at the legendary Station Inn. Tickets for our third Taste of Nashville event, an evening at the Grand Ole Opry, have already sold out, so be sure to book your Taste of Nashville registration soon!

• Saturday’s Volunteer Fun Night will round out the convention and will be a truly exciting evening celebrating our volunteers and all of the work they do. The event will include a three course dinner and a full concert by Joe Nichols.
