Photo Submission to Bugle Magazine
Thank you for your interest in submitting photos to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's Bugle magazine. The RMEF is a nonprofit wildlife conservation organization dedicated to ensuring the future of elk and other wildlife by conserving, restoring and enhancing natural habitats. Bugle is the flagship publication for the RMEF and is renowned for its outstanding wildlife photography.
Photography "Wish List"
NOTE: We would like to remind our photographers to be respectful when photographing wildlife. Photograph from a distance and use a telephoto lens to get close views. If animals notice you, appear nervous or cease feeding or resting, you are too close. Please, do not bait, touch or intentionally disturb wildlife in order to get a more dramatic picture. Use patience in your photography endeavors and be courteous toward other people and animals. If you pass up a good photo opportunity to avoid harassment, you are on the right path to helping foster ethical behavior and respect for wildlife. Only photographs of wild, non-captive animals will be considered unless directly related to an article.
