MISSOULA, Mont.—More and more people are including wildlife causes and conservation groups as beneficiaries of their estates. A free seminar titled “Nuts and Bolts of an Effective Estate Plan” will be offered March 6 at 9:00 a.m. in Reno at the Reno/Sparks Convention Center.
The hour-long seminar is being held in conjunction with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation convention. The public is welcome to attend the seminar at no cost, but a daily admission fee of $12 per person will apply for other event attractions.
The speaker is New York-based Jonathan Blattmachr, a renowned tax- and estate- planning attorney, popular lecturer, author of more than 300 articles and five books, active sportsman, conservationist and active member of RMEF.
“This is a great opportunity to learn from an expert about ‘planned giving,’ which many organizations see as a vital component for the future of habitat and wildlife conservation,” said David Allen, RMEF president and CEO.
Battmachr’s presentation will include a Q&A session with the audience.
