Mathews Archery Joins Forces with RMEF

MISSOULA, Mont.—The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation announces Mathews Archery as its primary bow partner.

“We are thrilled to have Mathews join RMEF as our primary bow partner,” said Steve Decker, RMEF vice president of Marketing. “Not only do they produce the highest quality products assisting sportsmen and women in the field, but they proudly believe in our conservation mission.”

Based in Sparta, Wisconsin, and founded in 1992, Mathews Archery produces high performance compound bows, strings and accessories with a goal of improving an archer’s overall knowledge and skill level.

“At Mathews we strive to create great experiences in the world of archery. To us the pinnacle of hunting in North America is the pursuit of Rocky Mountain elk. Mathews is honored to partner with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and to be a part of their great vision,” said Brad Treu, vice president of Sales and Marketing.

Since its founding in 1984, RMEF has permanently protected or conserved more than 6.8 million acres of elk habitat. It also focuses on creating or improving public access and assisted with successful elk reintroductions in seven different states.

“RMEF’s commitment to conservation and ensuring our hunters have access to hunting land truly makes an impact. We are so thankful for the efforts of RMEF and their members. We look forward to a great future together!” added Treu.

The newly expanded partnership includes Mathews’ support of RMEF Team Elk television on the Outdoor Channel and the soon-to-be launched RMEF Network web programming as well as featuring the Mathews flagship Halon bow in RMEF chapter events across the United States in 2017.
