Hello everyone. 

Please find below our latest Bugle Magazine Photo Essay photo call.  Submissions for March/April are due December 21, 2011.  Future deadlines are noted below.  Please send only your best images, as low/medium resolution jpgs via email, cd, online lightbox or by posting to our FTP site.

We have also increased our payment amounts, which can also be viewed in the submission guidelines.  Thank you and let me know if you have questions.

Future Color Sections
March/April: (Due December 21, 2011)
Shadowland – elk among cool shadows, creating cool shadows—all seasons (not really looking for silhouettes. Yes, this is a re-ask).  

May/June: (Due February 22, 2012)
Calves — Calves running, jumping, frolicking, etc. (We’re not really looking for any newborns or ultra-close-ups of bedded calves. We’re after calves in action.) 

July/August: (Due April 25, 2012)
The Breaks — “Breaks” country occurs across Montana, Wyoming, the Dakotas, Alberta & Saskatchewan (Missouri, Powder, Milk, Badlands, etc.); elk like those breaks just fine—looking for scenics of elk in such breaks.
