An amazing 470 RMEF chapters across the country drove home their commitment to conserving elk country in 2009, holding 743 events and raising a net revenue of $14.4 million! This included $9.1 million in event net (auctions, raffles, drawings, meals, etc), $3.5 million in membership net and $1.8 million in donations.
Congratulations to all RMEF chapters for exceptional fundraising in 2009, and a special thank you to all Outstanding Chapter Award winners!

| In 2009, the Grand Junction, Colorado, Chapter became the very first RMEF chapter to raise $2 million cumulative net! The Elk Foundation recognized the chapter with an Outstanding Chapter Award at the 26th Annual Elk Camp and Expo in Reno, Nevada, in March. The Grand Junction Chapter received other accolades as well, including: 1st place, Supporting Membership Sales; 1st place Sponsor Membership Sales; 1st place, Banquet Net Dollars; 1st place, Total Chapter Activity; and Recognition Net Over $100,000. Way to go, Grand Junction Chapter volunteers! |
