John Wayne 100th Anniversary Commemorative Winchester rifle |

|
We are pleased to announce that the John Wayne Rifle incentive program will run again in 2010! This is an exciting program designed to offer an incentive for chapters focused on Elk Country Legacy (unrestricted) Habitat Partner gifts.
How it works:
The program runs July 1 to December 31, 2010. Gifts received before or after do not qualify.
For fundraising, RMEF will provide, free of charge, one John Wayne 100th Anniversary Commemorative Winchester rifle to any RMEF chapter that secures an Elk Country Legacy (unrestricted) philanthropic gift of $2,500 from an individual or company. Pledges do not qualify. The minimum gift must be $2,500 cash or more to RMEF.
The rifle may be raffled or auctioned by the chapter, but may not be used in any way as an incentive or reward to the donor giving the gift. There must be no connection between the gift/donor and these rifles (IRS rules).
Gifts will automatically be tracked through the development department. You must include your chapter on the chapter credit line of the Habitat Partner form to qualify for the rifle.
About the rifle:
The John Wayne 100th Anniversary High Grade is a limited-edition of only 4,000 rifles, each highly embellished with delicate scroll engraving and fond reminders of Duke, certain to be treasured for generations to come.
The large loop lever is designed for fast action, while the rear carbine ladder sight and brass front blade puts you right on target. The right side of the scroll-engraved, silver-nickel nitride receiver features John Wayne’s portrait, his initials and a flowing banner with the words “Courage, Strength, Grit.”
The deeply blued loading gate and action screws lend an extra touch of elegance to this special commemorative rifle. John Wayne’s silvered signature graces the short 18½-inch barrel. The ladder-style carbine rear sight is fully adjustable. Two silver-nickel nitride barrel bands match the receiver. Left side of the receiver displays two portraits of John Wayne, along with a banner that reads “John Wayne, American, 1907-2007,” all richly accented by a deeply blued saddle ring, trigger and hammer.
Please contact your regional director or major gift officer for additional information or questions about this chapter incentive.
