Elk NetworkBull Elk Poached in Southeast Montana

There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in connection to the poaching of a mature bull elk in southeast Montana.

According to KTVH-TV, it happened on November 15, 2020, east of Hardin on Sarpy Basin Road. Someone shot the animal and removed its head.

For 2020, Remington partnered with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation to increase the visibility of poaching incidents in an effort to reduce poaching nationwide.
