Authorities in east-central Montana are searching for the person(s) responsible for killing three bull elk in Musselshell County. An investigation shows the first elk died from a single gun shot east of Roundup. The perpetrator(s) left the animal to waste in a field.
Follow-up reports indicated someone illegally shot and killed two more bulls nearby.
