The Oregon State Police needs your help tracking down who is responsible for the possible shooting of a bull elk in southwestern Oregon.

Investigators arrived in the Sam’s Valley area in Jackson County about one mile south of Highway 234 on January 27 to find a 4×4 bull with a bullet wound. A witness said he observed a newer, white full-size pickup in the area about two hours earlier. He said the truck pulled over, fired a shot and then drove off.
