Conservation | August 2, 2018

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation joined several other partners in helping to introduce eight boys and girls in Maine to a wide range of outdoor skills. It happened at the fourth annual North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association Hunger Program camp.

Each camper spent the three-day weekend matched up with a mentor and a trained bird dog. Activities included gun safety, clay shooting, duck calling, fire building compass reading and learning about conservation.
