Sportsman’s Warehouse Steps Up Support for RMEF

MISSOULA, Mont.—With retail locations in 15 states and a new online store, Sportsman’s Warehouse is reflecting the interests of a growing customer base by stepping up support for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

The outdoor retailer is helping RMEF ensure the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat by:

  • Sponsoring the RMEF Elk Country Legacy initiative
  • Advertising in RMEF’s Bugle magazine and Web site (http://www.rmef.org/)
  • Supporting local RMEF chapters in their fundraising endeavors

“Sportsman’s Warehouse is very proud to partner with RMEF. We are committed to supporting the heritage of our industry and RMEF in its conservation efforts. Our support of RMEF at both local and national levels is very important to our customers and associates,” said Karen Seaman, chief marketing officer for Sportsman’s Warehouse.

  • Steve Decker, vice president of marketing for RMEF, said, “Sportsman’s Warehouse is a longtime partner—a company with deep historical ties to conservation in elk country—and we’re very pleased to welcome its elevated support for 2011.”

Sportsman’s Warehouse is expanding its footprint at existing retail stores, re-entering previous markets and utilizing its online store to grow as one of the newest nationwide sources for hunting, fishing, camping and outdoor gear, says Seaman.
