CHAPTER HIGHLIGHT

At RMEF, growing the number of chapters nationwide is a strategic priority for the next three years, aiming to drive mission delivery through increased funding for on-the-ground habitat improvement and land access projects. A shining example of that growth is a new chapter in Cadillac, Mich., that held their first banquet this past January.

This new Timber & Tines chapter really embraced grassroots fundraising, engaging members, donors and attendees to host an extremely successful banquet. Attendance was more than 150 with net revenue of $44,000 and a net/gross ratio coming in at an impressive 58%. After their first-ever banquet, Timber & Tines easily qualified as a Trailblazer chapter. They generated $8,000 in event sponsor revenue and almost $3,000 in cash donations—great results for any, let alone a new, chapter.

Multiple volunteers from surrounding RMEF chapters demonstrated incredible teamwork by attending in support of the new banquet. It is this willingness to come together for a common goal that is the foundation of the work we do. This banquet serves as a shining example of what a new chapter can accomplish.

Congratulations to the Timber & Tines chapter for hosting an extremely successful RMEF banquet!
