The Brute Series is purpose-built for dedicated western hunters who demand a complete, out-of-the-box system that focuses on load-bearing capability and comfort. From fast day hunts to multi-day trips deep in the mountains, these packs are built around stability, support, and efficient weight transfer. The Brute Series lineup includes four pack sizes to match different hunt profiles: the low-profile Brute Scout for day hunts, and the Brute 3500, Brute 4500, and Brute 6500 for extended, load-intensive trips.

Lightweight Stability for Long Miles

Similar in design to the MODFRAME™, the Brute 3500, 4500, and 6500 packs use a lightweight internal aluminum frame that efficiently transfers weight, stabilizes heavy loads, and minimizes fatigue over long distances. This frame provides superior carrying capacity and is designed for reliable performance, season after season. Brute Series load-hauling packs also feature a load panel with vertical and horizontal straps that keep quarters tight, stable and close to your center of gravity.

Comfort and Fit

Proper fit is critical when you’re carrying a heavy load. The Brute 3500, 4500, and 6500 feature our Contour Shoulder Harness, allowing you to customize the pack to your torso length. Proper adjustment shifts weight off your shoulders and onto your hips, improving balance and reducing strain so you can move more efficiently in steep or broken terrain.

The shoulder harness uses air-mesh padding to increase ventilation and help regulate your body temperature during early-season hunts. Elevated, adjustable load lifters pull the pack closer to your center of gravity, making it feel lighter and promoting a more natural posture while moving through the mountains. Adjustments are quick and simple using the hook-and-loop panel on the back panel.

Support

All three packs are equipped with a Cradle Hip Belt featuring a silicone-print lumbar pad for added grip and comfort. The silicone helps keep the pack and your clothing from shifting as you move. The belt adjusts easily from either side with one hand, while the retention buckle keeps it securely tightened so it stays locked in throughout the hunt.

Stabilizing straps further improve weight balance and reduce side-to-side movement, giving you more control when crossing loose terrain, side-hilling, or moving off trail.

Functional Storage

Each pack features a removable lid with two pockets that attach to the frame using gatekeeper clips. A stretch pocket on top of the lid provides quick access to larger or oddly shaped items like water bottles or survival gear, while the front pocket is ideal for essentials such as headlamps, tools, snacks, or medical equipment.

A front zipper panel allows easy access to the main compartment, and a front stretch pocket is built for quick-access items like wet-weather gear or food. Inside, you’ll find a hydration hanger and elastic stuff pockets for organization. A full-length stretch pocket on one side stores a spotting scope or other fast-access gear, while the opposite side features a half-stretch pocket sized for a Nalgene, trekking poles, or a tripod.

Choosing the Right Brute

Pack size depends on hunt duration, season, and conditions:

  • Brute 3500: Ideal for 1–2 day mid-season hunts
  • Brute 4500: Built for 2–3 day trips
  • Brute 6500: Designed for 4–5 day hunts

Each pack compresses down for shorter trips. After dropping camp, simply tighten the compression straps for a streamlined day-hunting setup.

The Brute 6500 features an integrated roll-top for added capacity and weather protection, while the 3500 and 4500 use a zippered top.
