RMEF World Elk Calling Championships

Watch the best elk callers in the world compete for the crown during the World Elk Calling Championships, a two-day live competition held at the iconic Wilma Theatre in Missoula, Montana. Elite callers from across the country will take the stage, showcasing precision, realism, and mastery of elk vocalizations in front of a panel of well-known judges. From cow calls to challenge bugles, this is the ultimate test of calling skill and a must-see event for hunters and elk enthusiasts.

Hosted as part of RMEF Big Game Days, this event furthers RMEF’s mission to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage.

  • 9:20 AM - 9:50 AM: Introduction
  • 9:50 AM - 11:50 AM: Professional Division
  • 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: Lunch Break
  • 12:30 PM - 1:10 PM: Youth Division
  • 1:10 PM - 3:10 PM: Open Division

Pool Play Format

Prelim rounds will follow a pool play format. Each competitor will compete in three matches against other competitors within their assigned pool.
