The AMOUNT OF CONTRIBUTION THAT IS DEDUCTIBLE FOR federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of the amount of any money contributed by the donor over the fair market value (FMV) of goods or services furnished in return.

Membership-related FMVs:

The deductible amount from a $35 membership is $23.50 less the value of any premiums received. The deductible amount from a $100 membership is $100 less the value of any premiums received. The deductible amount from a $300 membership is $263.50 less the value of any premiums received. The deductible amount from a $1,500 membership is $1,417.50 less the value of any premiums received.
