If you spend much time outside, especially off the beaten path, chances are you get to witness some things most people just don’t get to experience.
Just ask Officer Lonie Morales. That’s exactly what happened to him.
While on patrol, Officer Morales spotted something in the middle of a shallow pond in northern New Mexico near the small town of Chama.
Turns out it looks to be a bleached out 5×5 set of bull elk antlers still attached to the head.
