Elk NetworkHelp Determine the Future of Idaho’s Elk Hunts

General | January 24, 2019

Want to weigh in on the future of Idaho’s elk herds and elk hunts? The Idaho Fish and Game Commission will set elk, deer, black bear, pronghorn and wolf seasons in March of 2019.

To gather input to help determine those decisions, the commission will hold a series of public meetings across the state. Hunters can give their opinions about regulations and seasons.

Additionally, the Idaho Department of Game and Fish will post the proposals online which will also include a link where hunters can provide public comment.

Go here to see a schedule of where and when public meetings will take place.
