Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Guidefitter, and Nevada Bighorns Unlimited Helps Promote Awareness of Wildlife Poaching by Supporting International Wildlife Crimestoppers, Inc.

Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Guidefitter, and Nevada Bighorns Unlimited have pledged their support of $5,000 each to International Wildlife Crimestoppers (IWC) to safeguard the nation’s wildlife from poachers.

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) is the leading conservation organization protecting North America’s elk population.  The RMEF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing elk habitat, restoring elk to native ranges, and educating others about wildlife and habitat conservation, and the value of hunting and our hunting heritage.

Guidefitter is an online community for guided hunting & fishing adventures, enabling sportspersons, guides, outfitters, and the organizations that serve them to collaborate and better promote their shared passion for the sport. They provide an online destination for consumers seeking and sharing guided adventures of a lifetime, the platform for outfitters to save money and run a better business, and the influencer marketing and sales channel for outdoor gear manufacturers.

Nevada Bighorns Unlimited (NBU) strives to protect and enhance Nevada’s wildlife resources for sportsmen, outdoor and wildlife enthusiasts, and future generations.   NBU is a non-profit grass roots sportsmen’s conservation organization with over 3,500 members throughout Nevada, the western United States and North America.

“The support from these organizations is tremendously appreciated”, said IWC Executive Director Lewis Rather. “Strategic partnerships like these help IWC to educate the public and delineate between the poacher and the ethical hunter. Our mission is simple; we are dedicated to stopping all poaching. We are a non-profit membership organization created by wildlife resource officers dedicated to reducing the illegal taking of the world’s fish and wildlife resources through the global exchange of information with anti-poaching organizations.”
