Elk NetworkSurvey Shines Light on Hunter Trends, Success

A survey conducted by GoWild that includes responses of more than one thousand hunters nationwide highlights some interesting findings. Here are a few of them:

  • Hunters age 65 and older have 15 percent more success in the field than those younger than 25
  • More than 50 percent of hunters think about hunting six times a day
  • Single hunters think more about hunting than a future spouse
  • Hunters are more likely to introduce their spouse to hunting than have a spouse not supporting them
  • More than 76 percent of hunters say their spouses are supporting of hunting
  • The main thing that keeps hunters, married and single alike, from hunting is work
