Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.

Volunteers from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation joined several other groups at the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (MUCC) Annual Convention to build two boardwalks at a popular area in north-central Michigan. The structures will benefit hunters and recreational users alike as they make their way across the Lame Duck Foot Access Trail.

The crew used everything from cordless drills to heavy machinery to accomplish their task. They capped off the project with lunch.

RMEF volunteers worked alongside other workers from MUCC, Ruffed Grouse Society, National Wildlife Federation, Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Quality Deer Management Association,  Michigan Trapper and Predator Callers and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
