Elk NetworkWyoming Hosts Beyond Becoming an Outdoors Woman Antelope Hunt

General | October 26, 2020

Seventeen women traveled from five different states to take part in a pronghorn antelope hunt in Wyoming. Hosted by the Beyond Becoming an Outdoors Woman (Beyond BOW) program and accompanied by eight mentors, each of the hunters successfully tagged an antelope.

The program seeks to introduce and instruct adult women on how to hunt. The five-day Wyoming outing provided instruction for many skills including shooting, outdoor survival, scouting and processing meat.

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is proud to be a sponsor of Beyond BOW.
