The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is accepting public comment on its 2021 hunting seasons for elk, pronghorn antelope, deer, moose and other wildlife species.
Specific to elk, changes include opening Elk hunt area 113 while not offering licenses in Elk hunt area 123 due to management objectives. There are also additional alterations regarding provisions, season extensions and modifying several hunt areas.
Go here to submit a comment and to view draft regulations for the various seasons. The deadline is April 2, 2021 at 5 p.m. The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission will receive and consider the comments at its April 2021 meeting in Jackson.
An updated draft of 2021 elk hunting season proposals will also be posted to the department website during the later portion of the public comment period.
