Longtime volunteers of the RMEF, Keith and Linda Ward of Huson, Mont., have finalized a deal to permanently protect 1,050 acres of area ranchland.

Idaho Land Exchange

In the Idaho panhandle, on the south face of the Cabinet Mountains overlooking Lake Pend Oreille, 921 acres of elk and moose wintering range have been permanently secured.
